Clear skies welcomed the 12774 spectators who had made their way to socceroo Arena. socceroos had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Alcazaba - Meurant, Jones, Pompei - Johansson, Moreau, Miholič, Gazitúa, Dekkers - Gallard, Pfaffenzeller.

After 65 minutes, the kamicazes coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, wavingRichard Fortner off the field. Patrick Gouze took his place. The most dominating socceroos player was without a doubt Cene Miholič. On the other hand, Humberto Oreste Pompei's play was disheartening. Wiboon Khampeeranonperformed admirably for kamicazes. Lars Fellner on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 2.
