socceroos 0 - 3 Sant_Jordi

 (273543339)

12802 spectators had come to socceroo Arena this cloudy day. socceroos decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Lineup: Alcazaba - Pompei, Meurant, Jones - Johansson, Miholič, Gazitúa, Bianchi, Fois - Schneider, Pfaffenzeller.

Sant_Jordi started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Starters: Draper - Wahlander, Ravagnin, Gkoniadis - Magnusson, Durant, Alba, Kouider, Machajski - van der Peet, Diamante.

It was obvious that socceroos were using their pressing skill as their primary tactic. socceroos's ability to press their opponents all over the field paid off frequently. Sant_Jordi took the lead after 12 minutes with 0 - 1. Mariusz Machajski placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. The socceroos coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy. The Sant_Jordi players could smell victory in the air. Cliff Magnusson wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Hugo Nordmeer after 20 minutes. The Sant_Jordi captaincy was handed to Hugo Nordmeer. After a short break in the 20 minute, Sant_Jordi seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. Sant_Jordi almost scored after a swift counterattack 24 minutes into the game, but Kévin Durant put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal. Sikko van der Peet could have put his team up another goal 31 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. This half belonged to Sant_Jordi, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

As the game started to slip away for socceroos, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. After 50 minutes, socceroos used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach. Sant_Jordi's Mariusz Machajski wanted to play on, but 55 minutes into the game the decision was made to substitute him for Ralph Krien. The coach of Sant_Jordi was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 75 minutes, Olavo Virgili came on for Osvaldo Diamante. No matter how hard he tried,Nemesio Gazitúa just couldn't get shot past the visitors' right side defence after 84 minutes. The counterattack by Sant_Jordi resulted in a free kick that Stefano Alba bent under the crossbar - 0 - 2! A penalty was called after 86 minutes, and Sant_Jordi's Stefano Albamade the most of his chance to put his team up by another goal. 0 - 3 for the visitors. The structure of the game started to change as Sant_Jordi decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. Sant_Jordi's Ferdinando Ravagnin was shown a yellow card after 87 minutes for slicing down an opponent. With 88 minutes played, Ferdinando Ravagnin nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. With 89 minutes played, socceroos's Cene Miholič fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Cene Miholič for diving. Hugo Nordmeer received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 89 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. Saúl Alcazaba got a fingertip on Hugo Nordmeer's shot from the left 89 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. The forty-five minutes were dominated by Sant_Jordi, with an impressive 57 percent possession of the ball.

Roman Schneider performed admirably for socceroos. Saúl Alcazaba turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Sant_Jordi player was without a doubtStefano Alba. On the other hand, Ralph Krien's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 3.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for socceroos. They fielded: Alcazaba - Pompei, Ezpeleta, Meurant - Bianchi, Miholič, Sudić, Gazitúa, Fois - Schneider, Kotinurmi.

Riuprimer demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. socceroos immediately set off using their skill at pressing their opponents. socceroos's José Ezpeleta was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 14 minutes. Riuprimer got a penalty shot 15 minutes into the game, but Modesto Falido scuffed the shot slightly and Saúl Alcazaba was able to block. At this time in the match, socceroos were using their skill at pressing to successfully put pressure on their opponents. Riuprimer had a chance to take the lead on Valentino Gioia's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled away as his shot went just over the bar after 20 minutes. Riuprimer's Samet Ülgenwas shown a yellow card after 22 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After a fine move down the middle Carles Gironell nearly gave the home side a goal after 24 minutes. The finishing shot went just wide, though. 37 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but Roman Schneider, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. Riuprimer's counterattacks were lethal to the opposing defence, allowingSamet Ülgen to score easily from the right flank for 1 - 0. The socceroos players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. José Ezpeletaknew he was in trouble after pulling back an opponent. Despite his pleading with the referee, the socceroos player was shown a second yellow card and dismissed from the game. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Riuprimer claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 67 percent.

Riuprimer's Alexander Carranza wanted to play on, but 46 minutes into the game the decision was made to substitute him for Federico GonzálezHeiri Meredith showed his inexperience when he failed to anticipate the bounce of a high ball, allowing socceroos'sCene Miholič to take advantage and place a shot into the bottom corner of the goal. 1 - 1. The defenders were clearly outwitted by Riuprimer after 64 minutes. The disciplined free kick combination shifted the ball quickly to one side of the box, then back to the other.Valentino Gioia appeared on cue near the post, and steered it past the goalie. 2 - 1. As the game started to slip away for socceroos, the manager decided to change the tactical approach. The bench was restless, and in the 65th minute socceroos's coach gave Kees Dekkers the opportunity the player had been hoping for. Giuliano Bianchi reluctantly left the field. Cheers filled the stadium as Marek Ryborz broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 3 - 1 goal for Riuprimer. Modesto Falido almost put Riuprimer ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide. This half belonged to Riuprimer, who controlled the ball 74 percent of the time.

Federico González performed admirably for Riuprimer. On the other hand, Gonçalo Barroso's play was disheartening. socceroos's top performer was clearly Roman Schneider. However, Humberto Oreste Pompei made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 1.

socceroos 2 - 1 Trimagestic

 (273543332)

A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 12802 to socceroo Arena. socceroos had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Starters: Alcazaba - Pompei, Ezpeleta, Meurant - Bianchi, Miholič, Gazitúa, Sudić, Fois - Pfaffenzeller, Schneider.

Trimagestic started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Sola - Stekelenburg, Espronceda, Naranjo - 静礼 (Jingli), Chabowski, Quadrati, Oprescu, Parolisi - Ordoñez, Makai.

After a fine move down the middle Roman Schneider nearly gave the home side a goal after 5 minutes. The finishing shot went just wide, though. Many thought Roman Schneiderought to have been awarded a penalty shot 11 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around Joaquín Sola after a determined run through the middle. Many in the crowd felt the referee was being too lenient when he only showed Trimagestic's Pietro Claudio Quadrati a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 12 minutes into the game. The player down was Humberto Oreste Pompei. The socceroos bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. Unsportsmanlike behaviour byPietro Claudio Quadrati rendered him his second booking of the match, and Trimagestic had to finish the game with a reduced squad. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, socceroos's Tommaso Fois somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for Artur Pfaffenzeller, who struck for 1 - 0. socceroos's Humberto Oreste Pompei swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. With 33 minutes played, Trimagestic's Giorgio Stekelenburg fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Giorgio Stekelenburg for diving. After an industrious effort down the middle, Nemesio Gazitúa could have closed the game off after 37 minutes, but his finishing shot hit the post. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. The forty-five minutes were dominated by socceroos, with an impressive 55 percent possession of the ball.

socceroos's José Ezpeleta struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 2 - 0 after 62 minutes. The structure of the game started to change as socceroos decided to pull back and meet their opponents in their own half. The socceroos players could smell victory in the air. Artur Pfaffenzeller wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for Kalle-Matti Kotinurmi after 69 minutes. After 71 minutes, 薛 (Xue) 静礼 (Jingli) replied with a fantastic free kick and the ball went in off the bar. 2 to 1. Content with how the game was proceeding, the socceroos coach let Morris Jones replace Humberto Oreste Pompei after 74 minutes. As Giuliano Bianchi was substituted 74 minutes into the game, he could take comfort in the fact that his team was in the lead. Nicolas Moreau was the replacement. This half belonged to socceroos, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

Most important socceroos player was Kalle-Matti Kotinurmi. On the other hand, Morris Jones's play was disheartening. Czesław Chabowski performed admirably for Trimagestic.Igor Naranjo was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
