Coslada tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players took the field: Torroba - Purset, Taltavull, Santorun, Pérez Mazo - Bayo, Floriategui, Paz Jimenez, Galdós - Noain, Poupariña.

Underestimation of the opposition made socceroos players perform way below their normal capacity. socceroos fans held their breath as Ignacio Delgado scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the go-ahead goal for 1-0! With 11 minutes played, socceroos's Ignacio Delgado fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Ignacio Delgado for diving. socceroos solidified their lead at the 12 minute mark, as Constantin Marcu manoeuvered the ball through the opposing central defence and finished for 2 - 0. socceroos's Constantin Marcu was delighted to score the 3 - 0 goal after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper and into the net, following some good attacking movement on the right wing after 25 minutes. After this, socceroos lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in socceroos'sConstantin Marcu putting the lead up to 4 - 0. That made three goals for Constantin Marcuand he was marked down for the hat trick. Down the middle came Ignacio Delgado, making a fantastic play that nearly had socceroos take the lead after 3 minutes, but Daniel Espolla preserved the tie. The referee showed socceroos's Mats Johansson the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. payasos were forced to a substitution as Tomàs Llover couldn't continue playing due to the rough treatment, forcing Apel·les Fresquet to come in from the sidelines. After 18 minutes, socceroos put themselves up by 0 - 1, as José Ezpeleta finished off a strike from the left with a real cannon placed at the far post. An accurate cross from socceroos's Tommaso Fois was met with a wonderful glancing header from Constantin Marcu, hitting the inside base of the post before nestling into the back of the net for 0 - 2.
